Share your CCIE v5 Written Experience

Took the exam and failed; I got 590/804. I’ve attempted v5.0 in July and attempted v5.1 today (9/16).
I studied the PL version 16.091 and noticed about new 20 – 25 questions, of which I think I got about half correct. They weren’t extremely difficult but required good understanding of the technology. Study the 1131 questions thoroughly and this exam should be passable… I just didn’t study the entire question pool thoroughly… Good Luck.

I’ll probably re-attempt within a couple of weeks and keep you updated.

I took the test and failed 5.1V. There are several new issues envolving Technologies .. This test is very difficult and I see I need to study more to understand the technologies.
I used to study:
Cisco Press CCIE R & S v.5 Vol 1 and Vol 2
CCIE R & S (400-101 V5.1) Exam Cert Guide (PDF) for CCNP and CCNA Professionals, 1st Edition – CCIE8WEEKS
PL version 16 091 1131 (all questions)

I Took the exam yesterday and failed. I Study the 1131 (version 16.091) questions from passleader althoroughly but 30 – 40 questions was new that are not convered in the DUM Too and learning Material from PL. so PL learning DUM and PDF are not valued learning Material for CCIE at the moment.

I took the written today 9/21/16 and passed. I studied the PL 1131. I only saw 2 questions that was not in PL.

1. Actual test as I knew had very good study material and there are no Cisco study questions on that site ?

2.9tut also had very good materials, question and answers but at the moment there are none?

Which question are we suppose to revise before sitting for the grilling cisco exams.

Just through experience you could know all the material of cisco “hypothetically speaking” and yet still fail, because the revision of the exams was not done.

1204questions are 80-90% valid… read every question and understand the topic, some answers are incorrect.

In exam answer choices are in same sequence as in PL 1204? oR choices are with different sequence Like in PL 1204 if choice is B but in exam may be D? means randomized.
