    @Sensei and @pt,
    You are wrong about the IS-IS broadcast question.

    What is the Pseudonode (PSN)?
    In order to reduce the number of full mesh adjacencies between nodes on multiaccess links, the multiaccess link itself is modeled as a pseudonode. This is a virtual node, as the name implies. The DIS creates the pseudonode. All routers on the broadcast link, including the DIS, form adjacencies with the pseudonode.

    ref: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/ip/integrated-intermediate-system-to-intermediate-system-is-is/49627-DIS-LSP-1.html

    So the answer is DIS (technically “pseudonode” would be more correct, but the DIS runs the Pseudonode, so it’s more or less the same)

    Responding “L1/L2” does not make sense, it has nothing to do with broadcast segments.

    Hi all,

    What is the correct please?¿

    What is the mechanism could be used to avoid the problem of TCP Starvation / UDP Dominance?
    A-Place UDP traffic in a dedicated traffic-class with the bandwidth keyword configured
    B-Use policy routing to send the UDP and TCP traffic over different paths
    C-Configure QOS to police UDP traffic to the desired volumen
    D-WRED to balance TCP and UDP utilization

    I think the option “C”, in the dumps correct is “D”

    thx

    February 25th, 2019

    @Magno
    About QoS:
    C, police that bad boy.

    It’s the only option that *restricts* UDP. None of the other will successfully control UDP.

    @ Ebrahem bro thanks a lot

  19. Nour
    February 25th, 2019

    @ Magno about TCP/UDP

    WRED (for the most part) manages congestion only on TCP-based flows. Here they asking for TCP/UDP means (the answer is Not D)

    If they didn’t ask you for a Mechanism, The answer will be ( B) use a policy routing to send UDP and TCP traffic over a different Path
    Ref:
    https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/solutions/Enterprise/WAN_and_MAN/QoS_SRND/QoS-SRND-Book/VPNQoS.html

    Since the Question is to find a Mechanism so, We know that QoS is a Mechanism. I will go with Answer C.
    Take a look at this:
    http://www.massimilianosbaraglia.it/documenti/TCP-IP/OSI/TCP%20starvation%20and%20UDP%20dominance.pdf

    Hope it make sense.
    Thx
